Habitat: Growing near the northern shoreline of Knaus Lake (ID 73008600), a shallow 215 acre hypereutrophic basin situated in the Hardwood Hills Subsection. Part of the Sauk River Chain of Lakes, locally referred to as the Horseshoe Chain. Locally common. Submerged in 0.5 meters of water.
Substrate: Rubble substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Heteranthera dubia.
