Habitat: Growing near the southern shoreline of Schneider Lake (ID 73008200), a 60 acre eutrophic basin situated in the Hardwood Hills Subsection. Part of the Sauk River Chain of Lakes, locally referred to as the Horseshoe Chain. Locally sparse. Submerged in 0.5 meters of water.
Substrate: Sand substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Utricularia vulgaris, Najas flexilis, Chara sp., Lemna trisulca.
