Habitat: Growing near the northeast shoreline of Amelia Lake (ID 61006400), a 930 acre mesotrophic basin situated in the Minnesota River Prairie Subsection. Water clarity high. Basin has natural sand-gravel points. Moderate to high shoreline development. Locally abundant. Submerged in 0.3 meters of water.
Substrate: Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associated with Potamogeton richardsonii, Stuckenia pectinata, Najas flexilis, Alisma gramineum, Heteranthera dubia.
