Habitat: Inter-drumlin wetland complex ... in small patch (~5 acres) of rich sedge fen ... Full sun. In water 12-18 inches deep, over very quaky peat ... in zone dominated by Carex lasiocarpa. Additional associates include Carex chordorrhiza, C. canescens, C. rostrata, C. interior, Potentilla palustris, Utricularia intermedia, Thelypteris palustris, Betula glandulifera, Salix pedicellaris, and Phragmites australis which is invading the fen.
