Habitat: Observed growing in full sun in mucky substrate along a small trail that bisects a wet meadow community and an open water community influenced by beavers.
Associated Species: Associates include: Carex lacustris, Salix discolor, Glyceria canadensis, and Alnus incana var. rugosa.
