Habitat: Common on sandy narrow shoreline along lake growing near and underneath patch of dead tamarack.
Associated Species: Associates include Juncus alpinoarticulatus, Cyperus squarrosus, Cyperus schweinitzii, Salix discolor, Typha sp., Lycopus uniflorus, Euthamia graminifolia, Potentilla norvegica.
