Locality: United States, Minnesota, Winona, Whitewater State Park. 115 meters upslope (northwest) of Trout Run hiking trail in Trout Run creek valley; 0.25 miles miles southeast of MN Trunk Hwy 74; 3.20 miles southwest of Elba.

Habitat: Occasional on recently thinned southeast facing slope being reconstructed for bluff prairie, however, many weedy species are thriving. Largely dominated by dense, tall Rhus glabra. Occasional Quercus macrocarpa and Q. rubra remain.
Associated Species: Other associates include Scutellaria leonardii, Monarda fistulosa, Lespedeza capitata, Sisyrinchium sp., Rubus idaeus, Smilax tamnoides, Rhamnus cathartica, Phlox divaricata.
