Occasional in wet meadow bordering west side of Stoney Creek. Bands of Carex aquatilis are occasional here, which is where this species is more common. These bands are wetter than surrounding Calamogrostis canadensis dominated mat.
Other associates include Carex lacustris, Carex lasiocarpa, Calamogrostis canadensis, Impatiens capensis, Campanula aparinoides, Scuttelaria galericulata, Persicaria amphibia, Cicuta bulbifera.
