Locality: United States, Minnesota, Hubbard, Badoura Jack Pine Woodlands Scientific Natural Area. Approx. 145 meters north of 140th St.; 0.9 miles east of MN Trunk Hwy 64; 9.5 miles south of Akeley.

Habitat: Occasional in area that was formerly a Pinus banksiana woodland; harvested in approximately 2009. Mostly growing in sun. This parcel did not receive any treatment post-harvest so has nice diversity of woodland and prairie species.
Substrate: Soils are sandy.
Associated Species: Associates include Galium boreale, Andropogon gerardii, Fragaria virginiana, Phlox pilosa, Asclepias ovata, Achillea millifolium, Vaccinium angustifolium, Zizia aurea, Symphyotrichum laeve, Salix humilis, Pinus banksiana seedlings.
