Habitat:
Recently cleared area in and adjacent to old growth Pinus strobus stand. Area cleared due to recent fire in order to create a firebreak. Several invasives are now present. Area is also adjacent to a wetter forest, so species diversity is varied.
Substrate:
Soils are sandy.
Associated Species:
Associates include Pinus strobus, Populus tremuloides, Abies balsamea, Echinochloa crus-galli, Erigeron glabellus, Diervilla lonicera, Cornus canadensis, Viburnum rafinesquianum, Apocynum androsaemifolium.
