United States, Minnesota, Lake of the Woods, Zippel Bay State Park. South shoreline of Lake of the Woods on west side of inlet to Zippel Bay; 16.5 miles northwest of Baudette.

Common on sandy shoreline of Lake of the Woods. Invasives are minimal except for small area near jetty where ice houses are dragged across sand to enter bay and is limited mostly to Melilotus albus.
Associates include Sporobolus cryptandrus, Carex pellita, Bromus inermis, Vitis riparia, Salix interior, Acer negundo.
