Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake of the Woods, Pine and Curry Island Scientific and Natural Area. Approx 5 meters from shoreline on southwest tip of island; 12 miles northwest of Baudette.

Habitat: Occasional on sandy beach region of narrow island largely dominated by small to medium sized dunes.
Notes: Associates include Salix interior, Phragmites australis, Euthamia gramineus, Populus deltoides (saplings), Solidago gigantea, Cyperus schweinitzii, Juncus effusus, Artemisia campestris.
