United States, Minnesota, Beltrami, Red Lake Wildlife Mgmt Area. 22 miles northwest of Waskish; south of the western water track, in very remote area.

Occasional in large Fraxinus nigra swamp near snowmobile road. Very wet at time of collection with water several inches above substrate. Transitions to a Larix laricina dominated area to south.
Associates include Iris versicolor, Carex leptalea, Carx lacustris, C. stipata, Carex retrorsa, Rubus pubescens, Impatiens capensis, Ribes hirtellum.
