Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake of the Woods, Red Lake Wildlife Management Area. 2 miles west of the Pitt Grade Forest Road; 21 miles southeast of Norris Camp.

Latitude/Longitude: 48.44 -94.8

Habitat: Occasional throughout internal water track with frequent large pools. Eriophorum not usually growing in pools but more frequently along the margins of water track.

Notes: Associates include Carex oligosperma, Andromeda polifolia, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Carex limosa, Carex pauciflora Rhynchospora alba, Carex chordorrhiza, Eriophorum virginicum, Kalmia polifolia.
