Locality: United States, Minnesota, Beltrami, Red Lake Wildlife Mgmt Area. 49 meters east of impoundment road; 15 miles northeast of Grygla.

Habitat: Rare in large, rich Carex lasiocarpa dominated fen. Collected near margin close to large ditch. Only two large clumps observed.
Notes: Additional associates include Calamagrostis stricta, Euthamia graminifolia, Phragmites australis, Solidago uliginosa, Typha latifolia, Salix serissima.
