Locality: United States, Minnesota, Beltrami, Red Lake Nation. 555 meters east of Reservation Hwy 22; 19.5 miles southeast of Grygla.

Habitat: Small Populus tremuloides upland within larger peatland complex. Appears to be a natural origin aspen stand. Oak in canopy look very old. Aspen are about 60-75 years old.
Notes: Additional associates include Quercus macrocarpa, Fraxinus nigra, Viburnum rafinesquianum, Corylus americanum, Symphyotrichum ciliolatum, Maianthemum racemosum, Solidago giganteum, Polygonatum pubescens, Amphicarpaea bracteata.
