Locality: United States, Minnesota, Beltrami, Red Lake State Forest. 0.75 miles north of Beltrami Cty Twp Road 416; 6.9 miles south-southwest of Waskish.

Habitat: Common in floodplain terrace forest on south side of Shotley Brook.
Notes: Associates include a Fraxinus nigra canopy with Tilia americana common and occasional Quercus macrocarpa and Acer saccharinum. Ground layer associates include Equisetum sylvaticum, Equisetum scirpoides, Uvularia grandiflora, Matteuccia struthiopteris, Laportea canadensis, Viola pubescens, Aralia nudicaulis.
