Habitat: Common in patterned peatland string pools. Flarks are dominated by stunted Thuja occidentalis. Pools are very wet.
Associated Species: Associates include Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Carex lasiocarpa, C. chordorrhiza, Vaccinium oxycoccos, Comarum palustre, Rhynchospora alba, Phragmites australis, Menyanthes trifoliata.
