Habitat:
Rare on rock outcrop on south shore of Lake of the Woods. Growing in moist cracks along shore with other vegetation and mosses nearby, otherwise areas where Eleocharis is growing is largely just rock.
Associated Species:
Associates include Selaginella rupestris, Portulaca oleracea, Danthonia spicata, Achillea millefolium, Poa pratensis, Heuchera richardsonii, Cerastium arvense, Cirsium arvense, and aundant Thuidium cf. delicatulum feathermoss.
