Spontaneous in long-untended lawn of house, the slope above old Hwy. 80; in woods on slope
Acer saccharum, Juglans nigra, Fraxinus americana, Tilia americana
Tree 20 m. tall, 45 cm. in diameter. Wood pale, creamy, uniform without strong color differentiation into sapwood and heartwood. Fruit abundant, the wings dry and tan, the seed portion green.
