Associated Species: Acer rubrum, Populus tremuloides, Osmunda cinnamomea, Osmunda regalis
Description: Shrubs 3 m. tall, in more or less loose clump of ca. 30 stems, 2.1 cm. in diameter, 7 years old, but near roadside and there has been periodic cutting so that the exact normal habit somewhat uncertain. Leaves very glaucous beneath and giving this species a much lighter look than other Salix spp. in region. No flowers or fruits
