Habitat: In a small but intact calcareous fen
Substrate: Calcium 215 mg/l; pH 7.4; specific conductivity 4753 µS/cm; alkalinity 250 mg/l.
Associated Species: Dominated by Carex prairea and C. stricta. Associated with Equisetum fluviatile, Carex sterilis, Salix candida, Betula pumila, Valeriana edulis var. ciliata.
