On a steep, N-facing clay bank of Seven Mile Creek. Surface firm, with intermittent moss cover. Habitat sheltered by a canopy of
mature Acer saccharum. Associated with Dryopteris carthusiana, Adiantum pedatum, Cystopteris tenuis.
