small tree, to 11.47 m in height, DBH 9.3 cm, trunk height to foliage 4.73 m, crown height 6.74 m, crown width 2.69 m, stilt roots up to 0.15 m,; foliage 5 kg mature wet mass, ; outer bark smooth, with lenticels,; fissures vertical, narrow,; bark brown, light brown, yellow,; cambium white, cream,; wood white, cream,; exudate absent,; from felled plot. Local Name(s): dako, yapoi, yazi; Local Use(s): Timber for fence construction and for posts and frame in house construction; firewood; sticks to support sugar cane and yams; fruits for stones to hunt birds.
