tree, to 20.29 m in height, DBH 19.2 cm, trunk height to foliage 17 m, crown height 3.29 m, crown width 4.14 m,; foliage 7.5 kg mature wet mass, 0.3029 kg juvenile wet mass, ; outer bark rough, with lenticels,; fissures vertical, narrow,; bark brown, white, grey,; cambium brown, light brown, white, cream,; wood brown, light brown, white, cream,; exudate absent,; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local Name(s): wavu; Local Use(s): Bark for rope to make bilum (string bags) and tying pigs; firewood; for posts, walls, and roofing in house construction.
