Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness; Along the shores of Thursday Bay, Crooked Lake in rugged bedrock terrain 20 miles north of Ely.

Verbatim Elevation: 1255 feet
Habitat: Frequent on the sheltered western shore of a small island near the western shore of Thursday Bay. In shallow water and stranded on the shore, up to 18 inches above the present water level, which is down ~3 feet due to an extended drought. Yellow flowers, these only present on stranded plants. In coarse sand and gravel amongst boulders.
Associated Species: Associates include Equisetum fluviatile, Eriocaulon aquaticum, Littorella uniflora, Juncus pelocarpus, Scirpus acutus, Eleocharis palustris.
