Habitat: Occasional at the water's edge in sedge meadow bordering the lake. Saturated peat, quaking to floating; quaking to floating sedge mat substrate. Bases of the tall tussocks frequently in shallow water. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Carex lacustris, C. diandra, Phragmites australis, Typha xglauca.
