Habitat: Frequent to quite abundant in shallow bay at the tip of the northeastern arm of Wood Lake. In water <4 feet deep. Deep, silty, mucky-organic substrate. Plant entirely submerged except for the upper portion of the inflorescence which is slightly emergent. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Myriophyllum verticillatum, Potamogeton natans, Nymphaea odorata, Nuphar variegata, Zizania palustris.
