Locality:
United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness; Rugged bedrock terrain along the Canadian border, 32 miles east-northeast of Ely. Local in the South Arm of Knife Lake, just west of the portage to Bonnie Lake and just southeast of Thunder Point.
