Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness; Along the shores of Tin Can Mike Lake in rugged bedrock terrain 11 miles north-northeast of Ely.

Verbatim Elevation: 1300 feet
Habitat: Local in shallow water (~18-60+ inches deep) at the tip of a small bedrock point on the western shore of the lake. Rooted in thin organic detritus over granitic bedrock. Many dozens of plants here, in loose patches.
Associated Species: Associates include Eriocaulon aquaticum, Isoetes echinospora, Nuphar variegata, Brasenia schreberi, Lobelia kalmii.
