Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness; Fairly rugged bedrock terrain between Moosecamp and Jackfish Lakes, 16 miles north-northeast of Ely.

Verbatim Elevation: 1370 feet
Habitat: Rare and local in poor sedge fen on the boggy shores of Webfoot Lake. A few dense clumps in slightly wetter subtle depressions near the western shore of the lake. Quaking saturated peat with Sphagnum moss carpets. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Rhynchospora alba, Carex limosa, Eriophorum virginicum, E. chamissonis, Xyris montana, Lycopodiella inundata, Scheuchzeria palustris, Sarracenia purpurea, Drosera intermedia, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Andromeda glaucophylla, Chamaedaphne calyculata.
