Habitat:
Uncommon and very local. Small infestation occurs on Picea mariana on the margin of a poor fen, and in the adjacent bedrock (granitic) woodland on a very steep northwest-facing slope above the wetland. A few dozen infected trees here, all are Picea mariana.
