Habitat:
Infrequent along a large water track in a patterned rich fen complex. Deep, quaking, saturated peat; mostly on slightly higher areas (strings). Loose to fairly dense clumps, mostly in full sun (to partial shade of stunted Thuja occidentalis and Larix laricina).
