Habitat: Local along the northwestern shore of Pea Soup Lake. Loose colony of plants in zone where beaver have excavated channels through the shore fen mat in the past. Forming small clumps, each with a few culms. Full sun to partial shade of stunted Larix laricina. Quaky saturated peat.
Associated Species: Associates include Carex stricta, C. lasiocarpa, Calamagrostis canadensis, Potentilla palustris, Iris versicolor, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Myrica gale, Alnus incana.
