Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake, Rugged bedrock terrain in the White Hills, seven miles north-northeast of Ely. Uncommon and local in the northern end of Hawks Nest Lake.

Verbatim Elevation: 1385 feet
Habitat: Small loose patch in the shallow water of a small pool in quaking sedge fen. Rooted in muck. Full sun. Also uncommon and sporadic elsewhere in shallow water along eastern shore of this lake.
Associated Species: Associates include Utricularia intermedia, U. minor, Nymphaea tuberosa, Carex lasiocarpa, Typha xglauca.
