Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake, Strongly rolling bedrock terrain south of the Fernberg Road, on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, 11 miles east-northeast of Ely. Local on the north shore of Greenstone Lake.

Verbatim Elevation: 1460 feet
Habitat: Two plants encountered uprooted and floating in small cove near the landing of the portage to Madden Lake. No rooted plants seen in limited search of littoral zone.
Associated Species: Associates in this part of the lake include Isoetes echinospora, Eriocaulon aquaticum, Potamogeton gramineus, P. amplifolius, Nymphaea tuberosa, Nuphar variegata.
