United States, Minnesota, Lake, Gently rolling forested terrain on the south side of Fall Lake, seven miles northeast of Ely. Local just off the Stub Lake hiking trail east of the National Forest Fall Lake Campground; on the north side of Stub Lake.

Habitat:
Scattered plants along old beaver runs excavated through a previously flooded sedge meadow (and Ericaceous shrub shore fen). Exposed wet peaty muck. Some plants in shallow water. Full sun. Specimen is one stem of a large multi-stemmed plant.

Associates include Carex lacustris, Alnus incana, Spiraea alba, Persicaria amphibia, Potentilla palustris, P. norvegica, Rumex orbiculatus, Triadenum fraseri, Scutellaria galericulata, Galium tinctorium.
