Locality: United States, Minnesota, Stearns, Along the Sauk River at the Sauk Landing canoe access, just downstream from the County Road 12 bridge, 1.5 miles north-northwest of St. Martin.

Elevation: 337 meters
Verbatim Elevation: 1105 feet
Habitat: Occasional on a small mudflat in a large river bend, near the old bridge crossing at the end of Sauk Landing Road. Full sun to partial shade of mature Acer saccharinum growing on the adjacent floodplain 1-3 feet higher in elevation. Nearly level setting ~30 inches above current river level (flow much reduced by late summer drought). Deep silt; moist beneath a dry, cracked crust.
Associated Species: Associates include Echinochloa crus-galli, Eragrostis hypnoides, Cyperus squarrosus, C. erythrorhizos, C. odoratus, Lindernia dubia, Amaranthus tuberculatus, Penthorum sedoides.
