Locality: United States, Minnesota, Stearns, Rolling till plain along County Road 11, three miles north-northwest of St. Martin.

Verbatim Elevation: 1190 feet
Habitat: Frequent in a degraded calcareous fen in a heavily grazed pasture east of the highway. Deep saturated marl (with abundant, coral-like, tan to gray concretions in the upper part of the soil profile) on a buoyant peat dome raised 2-5 feet above the adjacent gentle slope. In a narrow circular band that surrounds small, moss-filled, upwelling zone pools at the center of the dome. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Carex prairea, C. interior, Muhlenbergia glomerata, Equisetum arvense, Lobelia kalmii, Gentianopsis procera, Eupatorium maculatum, Parnassia glauca, Packera aurea, Triglochin palustris.
