Locality: United States, Minnesota, Stearns, Along the Sauk River at the Sauk Landing canoe access, just downstream from the County Road 12 bridge, 1.5 miles north-northwest of St. Martin.

Verbatim Elevation: 1105 feet
Habitat: Frequent on a small mudflat in a large river bend, near the old bridge crossing at the end of Sauk Landing Road. Full sun to partial shade of mature Acer saccharinum growing on the adjacent floodplain which is 1-3 feet higher in elevation. Stems sprawling over surface the substrate ~30 inches above the the current river level (flow is much reduced by a late summer drought). Deep silt; moist beneath a dry crust. White Flowers.
Associated Species: Associates include Cyperus odoratus, C. squarrosus, C. erythrorhizos, Eragrostis hypnoides, Echinochloa crus-galli, Amaranthus tuberculatus.
