Habitat: Occasional to frequent in a fairly broad rich fen zone near the northwestern corner of Slumber Lake. Full sun. Deep, quaky, wet peat. Typically in Sphagnum carpets.
Associated Species: Associates include Eriophorum virginicum, Rhynchospora alba, Trichophorum alpinum, Carex rostrata, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Andromeda glaucophylla, Myrica gale, Utricularia intermedia, U. cornuta, Pogonia ophioglossoides, Menyanthes trifoliata, Platanthera lacera, P. clavellata, Calopogon tuberosus.
