Habitat: Occasional in a fairly broad rich fen zone near the northwestern corner of Slumber Lake. Deep quaky saturated peat; sometimes in shallow water. Typically in continuous carpets of Sphagnum mosses. Loose to rather dense small patches. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Carex rostrata, C. lasiocarpa, Eriophorum tenellum, E. virginicum, Rhynchospora alba, Sarracenia purpurea, Scheuchzeria palustris, Calopogon tuberosus,áDrosera rotundifolia, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Kalmia polifolia, Vaccinium oxycoccus.
