Habitat: Uncommon in a broad zone of poor sedge fen on the northern shore of Slumber Lake. A few large, dense clumps encountered in a ~3-acre area. Deep, wet, quaky peat. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Rhynchospora alba, Carex pauciflora, Kalmia polifolia, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Andromeda glaucophylla, Xyris montana, Sarracenia purpurea, Scheuchzeria palustris, Calopogon tuberosus, Pogonia ophioglossoides, Drosera intermedia, D. rotundifolia.
