Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness; Rolling bedrock terrain northeast of Fall Lake, nine miles northeast of Ely.

Verbatim Elevation: 1330 feet
Habitat: Locally abundant in the southwestern end of Mud Lake. Plants entirely submersed in water ~10 feet deep and ~75 yards from shore. Upper portion of tallest plants ~12 inches below the surface here. Also observed in shallower water nearer to shore. Soft, silty-organic bottom.
Associated Species: Associated with Potamogeton richardsonii.
