Habitat:
Local, infrequent in a narrow poor fen zone surrounding a small (~1/4-acre) bog pond. Full sun to partial shade of Picea mariana. Continuous Sphagnum carpets. Fairly quaky saturated peat.
Associated Species:
Associates include Eriophorum virginicum, Rhynchospora alba, Carex pauciflora, C. limosa, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Kalmia polifolia, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Andromeda glaucophylla, Sarracenia purpurea, Drosera rotundifolia, Scheuchzeria palustris, Calopogon tuberosus.
