Habitat: Common in a small zone of poor fen. Continuous Sphagnum carpets. Forming loose patches in deep, saturated, quaky to firm peat. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Eriophorum chamissonis, Rhynchospora alba, Carex pauciflora, Sarracenia purpurea, Drosera rotundifolia, Scheuchzeria palustris, Calopogon tuberosus, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Andromeda glaucophylla, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Kalmia polifolia.
