Habitat: Common in the slack water of a boggy creek entering Wind Bay from the east. Deep, soft, unconsolidated organic substrate. Forming loose to dense patches in water ~3 feet deep. Inflorescences held slightly emergent, remainder of plant submersed. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Utricularia vulgaris, U. minor, Spirodela polyrhiza, Potamogeton pusillus, Glyceria borealis, Eleocharis palustris.
