Habitat: Uncommon in a small sheltered cove at campsite #123 on the mainland shore opposite Beaver Island. Scattered plants here in fine, nearly level sand in water 12-18 inches deep.
Associated Species: Associates include Eleocharis palustris, Juncus pelocarpus, Ranunculus flammula, Littorella uniflora, Equisetum fluviatile, Myriophyllum tenellum.
