Habitat:
Local on the shore of a long bedrock peninsula and a nearby low, 1/4-acre, bedrock islet in a sheltered bay. Forming rather dense patches in gradually sloping wave-washed settings ~3-36 inches above the current lake level (down ~16 inches from the early season high mark). Along crevices and in moist, shallow, sandy silt over biotite schist bedrock. Full sun.
