Locality: United States, Minnesota, Lake, Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness; Along the shores of Fall Lake in rolling bedrock terrain eight miles northeast of Ely; in the eastern end of the lake southwest of Charlies Island.

Verbatim Elevation: 1315 feet
Habitat: Abundant on the sheltered southern shore of a small near-shore island, in the eastern end of the lake southwest of Charlies Island. Dense patches in coarse sand and gravel amidst cobbles and small boulders. Submerged in shallow water and stranded up to ~18 inches above the receding water line (lake level is down ~20-30 inches from the early season high mark). Flowering when stranded. Occasional to abundant elsewhere along the lakeshore.
Associated Species: Associates include Juncus filiformis, Littorella uniflora, Ranunculus flammula, Lysimachia terrestris, Cicuta bulbifera, Carex lenticularis.
